Zootopia is not an ordinary city: in a world where all animals have evolved to live together in a peaceful society, the city attracts all species, from large predators to small rodents, who are spread from the icy Tundratown to the very chic Sahara Square. The unavoidable Frozen was a huge success for Disney, reminding audiences of others like the excellent Wreck-It Ralph and Big Hero 6. Zootopia also fits the bill – it is hilarious, imaginative and visually stunning. Built around a classic investigation, punctuated with mystery, chases and surprises, this animated film by Byron Howard (co-director of Rapunzel) and Rich Moore (director of Wreck-It Ralph) is especially worth it for its bright, off-the-wall world of animals that is full of fantastic details. With a deeply noble moral and a sensitive approach, Zootopia is an excellent Disney product that will delight young and old.
