But he soon notices the strange behavior of his hosts and begins to wonder what’s going on ...
A huge hit in the United States, Get Out by Jordan Peele, produced by Blumhouse (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Sinister and The Purge) surprised everyone, audiences as well as critics, becoming one of the most profitable movies of the year. Running the classic risk of setting up the audience for a predictable shock, Get Out easily passes the test. A willful, clever thriller that is well-crafted and intelligent, this movie by Jordan Peele is a model of the genre, offering the audience a nightmare perched on the edge of reality. With an excellent cast (Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Catherine Keener, Bradley Whitford), this movie is not to be missed, as much for its delicious thrills as for how it tackles today’s issues of race.
