Pride and Predator

Jane Austen must be turning in her grave. After rumors claimed there was a zombie version of her novel «Pride and Prejudice» in the works, here comes one with aliens.

«Pride and Prejudice», the epic love story set in a small 18th century English village and adapted numerous times into movies, has inspired Elton John in an unexpected way: he is reportedly adding an alien and re-titling it «Pride and Predator».

This news comes just one week after it was reported that a not-yet published novel version called «Pride and Prejudice and Zombies» was already being considered for adaptation. In that story, the Bennet sisters battle zombies and receive ninja training from Mr. Darcy.

The legendary musician's production company, Rocket Pictures, is currently completing an animated film voiced by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt, entitled «Gnomeo and Juliet».
