Headhunters
Thriller from Norway: a successful headhunter steals the art of his clients.
Roger is a made man: he has money, an attractive wife, a beautiful house, and works as a successful headhunter. But this is only part of the story, because his main income comes from finding out when his clients aren't home, so he can break into their houses and replace their valuable paintings with forgeries. Now Roger has his eye on an expensive Rubens owned by a man named Clas Greve. All seems to go well at first, but then Roger suspects Greve of having an affair with his wife. Even worse, Greve is a ruthless professional soldier who goes after Roger.
Although not destined to be a big sensation, this Norwegian thriller is still worth seeing. Told with cool Nordic elegance, director Morten Tyldum's film is sure to be his ticket to Hollywood. An entertaining movie for audiences, even if its fundamental premise has much more potential.
