Cyril is not yet 12 when his father decides he no longer wants him and places him in a home, despite the boy's despair. Overcome by violent anger, the boy pins all his hopes for a better life on Samantha (*Cécile de France*), a young hairdresser he met a few days earlier who agrees to take him home for the weekend. But her good intentions turn into deep dismay when the boy turns out to be very attracted to danger...
