19-year-old juvenile detention inmate Roman (Thomas Schubert) is about to be released. To prepare for his new life, he is told to get a job. But no position seems right for the quiet and closed young man, until he applies for a job at a mortuary. Having to deal with death seem to bring Roman back into life, as new experiences make him confront his past, search for his birth mother and come to terms with the crime he committed.

Actor Karl Markovics' debut film is a masterful character study, with deeply moving images and an excellent performance. A fascinating look at the concerns and situation of a young man and how he develops.
