The paper quotes a friend of Angelina Jolie saying, «she's getting bored with Hollywood. She said she's now got her sights set on Washington.»

Active for several years now as an ambassador for the United Nations, Jolie has reportedly told close friends that she wants to help make the world a better place by entering into politics.

The anonymous source goes on to say that Jolie will fight for more justice and human rights, and that «she admires Obama and thinks she could make a big difference too if she were in his position.»

Just recently, Jolie published an article on the dramatic situation in Darfur in the prestigious Time Magazine, and was named the most powerful woman in the world by Forbes magazine.

The actresses' friend and source of the scoop even goes as far as seeing Jolie in high office in the future: «I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president in the next 20 years.»
