Lindsay Lohan to be interrogated by Scotland Yard

Following a jewel theft in the amount of $400,000, Scotland Yard is planning on talking to the last person to wear them: Lindsay Lohan.

The young actress wore the Dior jewels during a photo shoot for Elle magazine on June 6.

Lohan may soon be interrogated by the English police, as will members of the photo shoot team. Representatives from Dior are naturally more than embarrassed and irritated at the loss of its property.

A spokesperson for Elle UK has issued a somewhat awkward press release: «Elle has no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way responsible and has no further comment to make.»

Lohan hasn't had a lot of luck with jewelry: in 2006, her bag stuffed with Hermès was stolen at London's Heathrow airport, making her already known to Scotland Yard.
