Panic in Hollywood: a copy of the new «X-Men» movie is available online one month before its US release.

State of emergency: «X-Men 4» pirated

Although pirate copies of «Sicko», «Hostel 2» and «American Gangster» caused havoc when they were released days before the official openings, that's nothing compared to Hollywood's hysteria over an illegal download of the fourth installment in the X-Men franchise.

With its US release due in one month, «Wolverine» has already been downloaded by thousand of users, even though there is no music and some special effects are missing.

Irate over losing revenues, producer Fox issued a press release, rife with nervous threats of calling in the FBI.

Given the near-perfect quality of the download, the FBI may want to look closely at Fox itself: the culprit is most likely in-house.

Blogging employees are marveling that this hasn't happened before, given the ease in which they're able to get their hands on movies during post-production and make copies into their own computers.

This may result in simple employees, who are scorned daily by despotic superiors and self-absorbed stars, being treated with a little more respect to keep them from taking any more revenge-by-piracy.
